Pelle
Founder
Competitive Sailor, skier, mountaineer, drummer
Pelle has a passion for the sea and has been sailing and boating since he was a little kid. As a sailor he has participated in several Norwegian championships in F18 and Express.
He loves the outdoors in all seasons and has experience in several types of mountain expeditions. No stranger to the kitchen and certainly enjoys the occasions of gourmet meals. He plays drums in an amateur band.
Pelle has more than 10 years of experience in the Travel industry and has served as CEO and board member for several start-ups.
Bjarne
Founder
Paraglider, skier, mountaineer
Bjarne is an enthusiast for paragliding and is a volunteer to the Ekstremsportveko; the yearly extreme sport festival in Voss. He is also an experienced mountaineer with a passion for the northern part of Norway.
Bjarne has been in senior management positions in different industries and is a logistics specialist. Bjarne has earlier held the position as CEO for Bristow Helicopters in Norway.
Cecilie
Medical doctor
Mediyoga and Mindfulness/MBSR instructor
Cecilie enjoys being in the nature year round. Loves running, and has completed several marathons. She is also practicing yoga and meditation on a regular basis.
She has been working as a doctor for 20 years. For the last 10 years working as a general practitioner in her private practice.
She is also educated as:
– Medical yoga instructor in Norway
– Mindfulness/MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) from Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts
ØRJAN
Chef
Ørjan is a well educated chef and his merit includes several Michelin restaurant in France and Norway. He has also been chef at Four Seasons hotel in New York.
Currently he is a offshore chef and moved to Vesterålen to pursue his passion for fishing and harvesting from the ocean.
Ørjan is also a passionate hunter and loves to be in the mountains.
Ørjan enjoys to make gourmet meals from local products, often together with our guests.
JØRN
Anaesthesia Nurse
Medic
Mountaineer, Skier, Climber
Jørn is an experienced mountaineer who loves hiking all seasons.
He has a special passion for skiing and climbing summits.
He is born and raised in northern Norway, this is therefore one of his favourite areas.
He has done severeal expeditions over the Hardangervidda, both winter and summer. Finds equal comfort in Cabins, Tents and also snow caves.
A nurse for over 20 years he is now working offshore as a medic.
